About

Andrew Lord (b.1950, Rochdale, England) lives and works in New York. His work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions at international institutions, including: Kröller Müller Museum, Otterlo, Netherlands; Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois; Santa Monica Museum of Art, California; Rijksmuseum Twenthe, Enschede, Netherlands; Camden Arts Centre, London; and The Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The artist’s work is held in many public collections, including: The Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Kröller-Müller Museum, Otterlo, The Netherlands; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Philip Johnson’s Glass House, New Canaan, Connecticut; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Tate Britain, London; Victoria and Albert Museum, London among others. In 2014, Lord was resident at Cité International des Arts Paris.
