Rosemarie Trockel (b. 1952, Schwerte, West Germany) lives and works in Potsdam, Germany. She has been the subject of major solo exhibitions including: Rosemarie Trockel, Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt (2022); Reflections / Riflessoni. Rosemarie Trockel and works from Torino Collections, Pinacoteca Agnelli, Torino, Italy (2016); A Cosmos, which originated at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid (2012) and traveled to the New Museum, New York (2012) and Serpentine Gallery, London (2013); and Flagrant Delight, which was presented at Wiels, Brussels; Culturgest, Lisbon; and Museion, Bolzano, Italy (2012). Her work is currently on view at the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa with the traveling exhibition curated by Lynne Cooke.
