This book is a 72-page reproduction of Brätsch's marbling series of the same name, realized with the artisan Dirk Lange. In a complex process, paint was dripped into a water bath, which was then absorbed by a sheet placed above it. The work, which is characterized by a wealth of detail, shimmers between abstraction and representation. The black book cover, which has a thermal effect, only shows the motif underneath when touched by a warm hand.
