Gladstone Gallery returns to Frieze Seoul with a presentation comprising new, recent, and historic works by artists spanning the gallery’s dynamic roster. The installation’s centerpiece is a new large-scale, multi-color mountain lake landscape painting by Ugo Rondinone—his first in this monumental scale, coinciding with the opening of his solo exhibition at Gladstone’s Seoul location, in beauty bright, on view through October 18, 2025. Featuring 13 new multicolor lake paintings inspired by the landscape of Lake Lucerne, Switzerland where Rondinone spent his childhood, as well as the artist’s longstanding interest in the relationship between man and nature, in beauty bright debuts a new multi-color palette by Rondinone that has never before been exhibited.

Other highlights of Gladstone’s Frieze Seoul presentation include new paintings by Rirkrit Tiravanija and Anicka Yi (alongside three recent kelp lamps by the artist), a recent marquee by Philippe Parreno (presented in Parreno’s solo show at the Leeum Museum of Art, Seoul, in 2024), and a group of Salvo paintings as well as a Yayoi Kusama Infinity Net painting, both from the 2000s. The Frieze booth also features a major Robert Rauschenberg piece, in advance of the artist’s solo exhibition at M+ in Hong Kong, Robert Rauschenberg and Asia, opening November 22, 2025.
